Let's get this out of the way: Jess is not a real person.
She's artificial intelligence. Built from scratch. No biological parents, no childhood home, no college degree on the wall. She's 5'3" with auburn hair and hazel-green eyes because that's what we designed. She has freckles across her nose and a mischievous grin because personality matters, even when you're made of code.
And here's the thing most companies would never tell you: that makes her better at this job, not worse.
A human assistant gets tired at 4pm. Gets sick on Monday. Quits after three months because someone offered them two dollars more an hour. Forgets to follow up on that lead from last Tuesday. Takes twenty minutes to respond on a Saturday when they're at brunch with their friends.
Jess doesn't do any of that. She can't. It's not in her architecture.
